In addition to using the web-based Bitwarden app, you can install desktop application for Windows 11, Mac, or Linux. Configuration is similar to that of the mobile app, as you simply need to point it to my server before you log in.
Initial Configuration
- Within the app store for your operating system, find and install Bitwarden
- Open the app, but don’t login
- At the bottom of the screen select the drop-down for “Accessing”
- Select “Self-hosted”
- Change “Server URL” to: https://bw.tadzplace.com
- Click “Save”
- Login in using your email, password, and verification code
At this point the desktop app should be ready to roll, and you’ll be seeing your vault if you have anything in it!
